NRS Conference 2015


The NHS Research Scotland (NRS) annual conference took place on Wednesday 28 October 2015, bringing together over 400 delegates from across the NHS, academia, industry and third sector. The conference, the largest held to date, showcased the best examples of clinical research across Scotland, and explored key opportunities and challenges for the sector, now and in the future.

Delivering Research Excellence was the core theme of the day and guided by feedback from the research community, the programme was designed to not only showcase our approach to emerging areas of science and delivery of high profile clinical trials; but to also explore our supporting infrastructures, funding opportunities, and strengthening links with industry. We will shortly make available all presentations.

Scotland's new Health and Social Care Research Strategy was also launched at the event by Minister for Sport, Health Improvement and Mental Health. You can view the strategy at
